COOPMIN has been awarded four mining permits (PLG) by the National Mining Agency on July 26, 2024, covering a total area of 271 hectares. A PLG permit grants authorization for the immediate exploitation and commercialization of mineral deposits, with all four areas now ready for production. We anticipate commencing production in Q4 2024, pending the issuance of the Operating License from the National Mining Agency.
Located in the Marupa region of the Tapajos Mineral Province, these areas have a well-established history of both alluvial and fluvial artisanal gold production. This proven track record underscores their significant potential for continued sustainable gold extraction and development.
